@normhead some of these are probably headed your way...

I'll look when I'm out next, to see if any are here yet. Canada geese are, and a few ducks. I don't think I've seen alone yet.

It's an aquatic rabbit, for one thing.

Thanks. I was walking along and seen the head pop up next to me. If it wouldn't have stuck it's head up, I never would have noticed that it was there.

This pond has had a few gator sightings in it. I waited around for a bit, but didn't see one. I thought it was a bit unusual for a rabbit to get into the water to eat, but I guess he was craving soup.

The IQ with this shot is pretty horrid, but considering its a $30 lens on a $10 TC, I can live with it.

I lost my sunlight before I had a chance to try shooting this guy - I'll be back again for certain considering they have their nest somewhere exceedingly easy to view.

300mm + 3X TC (the fringing... oh man, the fringing... *shudders*)

That is a lens you can only dream of and those shots show why you dream of it.

Is this the sears lens?
IMO thats pretty good for one of these vintage lenses +TC. My desultory tests have never impressed: even though the terrible contrast can be largely corrected, by the the time I have resized to get the image into some sort of decent definition it tends to be close to the point where I needn't have bothered with the TC in the first place.
