I like the Tufted Titmouse.

Even better, the tag "Tufted Titmouse" will get lots of hits of Flickr...but not by people looking for the bird.

When you get a bird spreading its wings, use the tag "spreadeagled" and watch how many hits you'll get.

This was captured with a Sakar 500mm (not the compact version) on a Pentax K-x, through a windowpane. The second-hand lens was bought years ago. It is long-bodied, not a compact version.

Some from this weekend...

I saw a bunch of Turkey vultures in a field near the road, they were scavenging on a dead deer that was probably hit by a car... I stopped and try a furtive approach, but they flew off, but was able to do some decent shots... (FA 250-600 + K-3)

I went out today to try to get a shot of a bird called a Ring Ouzel. I had no luck. But I did get these ,K-5/Sigma 500mm f4.5 EX DG manual focus, male Brimstone butterflies trying to mate with a female
