Great series Norm (and educational) the white background is just like perfect bokeh - no distraction at all.

Thanks, it was AF.C in burst mode... 27 AF points, some settings cusomized for BIF, and save in a user mode especially for BIF (I used to share them here...)
I got few keepers.... But some good ones... (I'd say roughly 10% are keepers for BIF, and 50% of them are presentable, the others are not the right angle, from the back, or too dark, etc)

Can you share your custom (user mode) settings for BIF (or point to the post if posted earlier)? I too have my own settings for BIF on k-5/DA*300, but I was not that much successful :-)

About 40 degrees here which is pretty amazing. Found someone in the park today with a little feeding/photography station, and was able to take advantage without intruding. American Tree Sparrow.

I walked about 3 miles today carrying my K-5/FA*600mm f4 ED[IF] and Gitzo1348 although it was heavy it's manageable . Here are the results

That's a lot of walking with heavy stuff. Keep up the good work. Better yet, do it every day for a month and then show us the muscles you develop.
