Wow! Wonderful shots, and interesting too! I like the frames...some do ...some don't...I like yours!

When I become a Pro with the K1 I'll be tickled pink if I can get shots half that good!

Wow! I'm sure you realize you are a lucky man, Rupert!
You bet I do! Without lots of luck I wouldn't even exist! Without Mrs Rupert I wouldn't either!

Here is an inferior shot I got a couple of hours ago.....I'm gonna post it anyhow because of the circumstance. I was looking out my office windows and there were birds of all kinds everywhere, mostly doves and Cardinals and about a dozen squirrels milling around. All of a sudden, within a couple of seconds they all disappeared. Just barely in sight through the upper part of one of my windows I caught a glimpse of why.....

Best Regards!

Not all of us have the same motivation when staring at little birds...

Alas, domestic felines take a huge number of little birds each year just for the fun of it.
Bluebird from two years back, DA300, fairly deep crop.

Thanks Racer. Actually they make a resonant, guttural bugling sound - you can year it from a long way away. It was nice to get so close to them his time.

I think I like this better than the closer crop version I posted earlier.
What do you think?

Cheers Dave, this bloke was a bit of a show pony and a good rider. It was hard not to get drawn into taking his photo.

There's more room around the little fella, he doesn't feel as squished into the bottom of the frame like the previous image. Is that how you see it?

Yep, but a lot have the same motivation when viewing handsome squirrels!

Here is what that hawk was after yesterday...one of the many doves that feed here daily.

Mourning Dove
