I seldom mess with the work of others...but that was such a good shot and it processed so easy. Glad you didn't mind!

Best Regards!

Here are some shots of Meadow Pipits with food for their young K-5/FA*600mm f4 ED [IF] on a Kirk window mount. Taken from the drivers seat of a car

DaneDawg, Awsome bird if flight shot! I would put it in Exclusive Gallery contest. A quick description on how you did it would be great!

He did it with a Nikon, so I don't think it qualifies

One of my last Sigma lens shots...

As it says, one of the last shots I took with my Sigma 120 400 combined with the 1.4 Tele. It's a very fine lens. Common House Sparrow, nowhere near a house at all...

I was in my office this afternoon playing around with Photoshop Um.... I mean I was really focused on Company Business when I looked out the window and saw two White Tailed Kites.

White birds against a bright blue sky....is it underexpose one to two stops as I obviously did not get it right...

The songbird migration is winding down, the trees are mostly in leaf and the Red-winged Blackbirds are not displaying s aggressively. Since my K-3 is still in for repair I took my old K-r out yesterday for the first time since the new camera arrived at the end of October. The K-r 's shutter is a lot louder than the K-3 and I missed a few shots that I would have got with the K-3 since the focussing was a lot slower. All with the DA*300 mm and 1.4x teleconverter.

Eastern Kingbird

Wild Turkey (I don't see how hunters can find this bird to be a challenge!)

Red-winged Blackbird

Shovelers

I think they're in it for the meat.

Nice set--I've not gotten a good Kingbird yet this year.

K-3, M 400/5.6, My new Gimbal head - ISO 6400

Two visitors to my back yard today. Miserable weather results in needing high ISO, and taken through a double pane glass door. which I am sure degrades the image somewhat, but the weather would degrade me even more . I'm finding the Gimbal head to be much easier to use than the ball head I've used for 30+ years.

Black Headed Grosbeak

White Crowned Sparrow
