One of six turkeys crossing the road behind our house. Each one looked carefully in all directions before crossing one at a time. With so many leaves down, they sound like muted hikers in the woods though quite stealthy. K-3, A/400

If only the 4 year olds would learn to look ... whole bunch of little ones in the neighbourhood. I coast down the hill from my house with my foot touching the brake pedal.

Nice turkey shot.

As I can see, you make good use of the DA*300, rather light weight for hiking in the national park, and neat image result, very sharp.

Very nice work with the DA*300.

The EXIF entry for focal length is a bit odd, saying the 35mm equivalent is 459mm.

Thanks, but exasperatingly, the AF failed immediately. Cleaning the contacts both there and after I got home did not cure the problem (also tested the lens on a different Pentax camera). NUTS!

The first image, of the male, is amazing - a real winner.
