Where you shoot - what hours of the day - typical setup - solo or with team of people - blind or no blind - how do you track down your subject, or is it pick a spot and wait?
I could spend 40 hours in the bush and never get a single one of these photos. Yet you achieve lifers.
You have an incredible talent. What we see is the fraction of a second the shutter was open; I'd like to hear about the process to getting there. - If you are willing to share of course!
Thanks UserAccessDenied, the credit to these lifers goes to the bird guide of Chiangmai, he brought us to the locations of bird's habitat and some feeding ground. I just need to shoot with the correct settings (TAV with auto iso). The ideal number of shooters not >2, sometimes we shot from inside the car while driving up the mountain, if there are 3 shooters then the one sitting at the right will not be able to shoot. For feeding ground we shot with hide setup. As this is my first time shooting there, 90% of the birds are lifers.
