By my eye: white, black, yellow, orange, red, green, and purple. It wants a touch of blue, although the tip of the tail comes close.

(still love our spotted flycatchers though....)

Chris
Thanks and great that you guys like it! Unfortunately I didn't manage to capture it's closer species, the Red-billed Leiothrix earlier on, due to the colour are almost identical to each other...

Nice photo.

Looks like the bird is sitting in a fire.

We placed a couple of these in the orchard and raised bed gardens, and also a couple in the roses (the deer eat the roses to the crown). Solves the problem.

Great photo , colors. Especially to capture this shot with a K5IIs , one must be good at keeping the bird in the viewfinder.

Hi guys,
It's been a while... It is my swan song, I guess. After lot of thinking I finally decided to move on and sell all of my APS-C gear including my beloved and very trustworthy companion of almost five years Sigma 500/4.5. There are a few shots with K-3 and Sigma, probably the last ones...

Peregrine Falcon Father Attacking Flying Nearby Osprey (San Pedro, CA)

Happy Osprey (Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve):

Rare for SoCal Red Fox (San Pedro)

Red-tailed Hawk Grounded :-) (Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve):

Endangered Clapper Rail (Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve)

Another Happy Camper (Balboa Lake)

Happy shooting to you all,

SG
