Two uncropped and cropped images from bird-feeder photography, taken with and Olympus 300 f4 on an OM 10 mk II. I am well pleased with this lens.

And now for something (almost) completely different.

Some aircraft shots, for when you've had enough of birds and nature... All from Dunsfold, August 2014, using SMC Pentax-DA 55-300mm F4-5.8 ED on a K-r.

Sopwith Pup Triplane (thanks alfa75ts), 300mm, cropped:

Spitfire Mk XI and P51D Mustang, 300mm, cropped:

P51D Mustang, 300mm, uncropped:

Avro Vulcan XH558 with Folland Gnat escort, 180mm, cropped:

Went looking for Whimbrels this morning - didn't see any but a Red Knot did show up, pausing on its way to the high Arctic. A lot less common here than a Whimbrel.

K-3, DA*300mm

Great work! Congrats! Especially the Mustang on the 3rd pic is superb photo.

K-1 - DA*60-250
400 ISO - 1/60s - ƒ5.6

Shot at 250mm, but I'm sure after cropping it was a 300mm field of view.

All my rabbit images have been on the way to get groceries.

Today, we saw a fox but didn't get a picture of it, but we got this rascally wabbit.

Last year things were a lot worse for the rabbit.

But what are the odds. I hardly ever see foxes or rabbits, but two years in a row, both in one day?

Shot with the DA* 300 + DA 1.4x converter, the rather rare and disturbing two-headed flamingo:

I have my camera and lens hanging off my hip with an Opt tech USA sling and an joby hand grip and ultra plate

I sometimes hold the longer lenses like the D FA 150-450mm in the crook of my left arm or over my shoulder as I walk

when trying to take a photo, I hold the barrel of the lens or the lens foot

YMMV

Sorry, it has three wings so it's a Sopwith Triplane.

This is a Pup (replica), it looks very similar apart from the wings.

K3 / DA*300
Least Bittern

K3 / 150-450 @410mm
Green Heron

K3 / 150-450 @ 450mm

Painted Bunting. One of the very first birds I was looking for since I started birding, and it took me almost 3 years to make this bird a lifer. Got both male and female on the same day.

A bit more sun today, so a quick walk in park.
Here's a couple of shots of a female Scarlet Robin who didn't seem too concerned about my presence. Minimal crop.
K-3 II, DFA 150-450 + 1.4x TC handheld. See exif for shot details.

Cheers,
Terry

Really impressed by the pictures of the bittern. Not an easy bird to find out in the open, and the image quality is excellent.

The last shot of the Green Heron is GREAT! Nicely done!
