I’m usually not fond of squirrel shots, but I’ll make an exception for these. Nicely captured!

The Sigma 150-500 produced some very good photos especially at close range but it's not in the same league as the Pentax DFA 150-450 that I upgraded to but then again it does cost significantly less

Hi Mike

I'm too slow or lack of finances.
The Siggy would do me fine
Ofcourse the Pentax is better

The Brown Thrasher was in the middle of a face-off with the Broad-winged Hawk, calling and displaying from another wire just a few feet down. The Thrasher is a bird of dry scrubland and you wouldn't usually find it in the forested/beaver meadow areas where Broad-winged Hawks are found. I did my best with PP - if only the lighting had been better!

A few from the weekend. Not as much Cape May this week.

Cape May Warbler

Snapping turtle sunbathing.

Spotted Sandpiper. I believe this is a juvenile.

First close encounter of the Green Heron this year.

Looks like a prototype for Jabba the Hutt!

Here's a female Common Merganser (I prefer the Brit name - "Goosander")
