Now that you mentioned it, I do.

Unfortunately now I'm thinking about the Tibetan monks who self-immolated.

They are wily creatures for sure! I followed one multiple times at a relatives house over the course of several months and their attempts to evade me put all their skills on display. Much more capable then their usually ostrich like behavior would lead you to believe.

Definitely interesting birds. I need to try more at catching them in photos.

Something I noticed this last week, there are some small lizards in the tree, colored same tone as the bark. I wouldn't doubt if it was chasing one of those.

It looks to me like an immature male, just coming into its adult plumage. It doesn't happen all at once. It's bill has already turned bright orange, from the more dusky color it had during most of its first year.

...a whole urban wetland and all you got was a seagull?
You could have got one of those at St Kilda beach!

But a nice reflection which you would not have got at St Kilda.

Well, the seagull was in one of the paddocks which sometimes has a Peregrine and just happens to be mostly under water at the moment.

I was hoping to improve on this ( I really like the blue against the yellow).
