I love seeing the amazing colours on the birds from other parts of the world....wish ours were that colourful. A nice clear set of shots....

Nothing as bright and colorful as Freak or Kengoh's birds, but tonight I caught a Junco and Northern Flicker (or Yellowhammer) taking shelter from the high winds in my backyard.
I rarely see woodpeckers on the ground around here...



**Note: I was grilling dinner at the time, so this reaffirms my belief that the camera should always be close at hand, with a 300mm lens (or greater) attached!

There is just an amazing variety of colourful birds in S.E.Asia isn't there. And Ian and Ken do a superb job shooting them !
