They certainly are. You don't want to get between an adult and their young, they can get a bit 'savage' and are able to cause damage with their wing spurs.

I especially like the Buzzard as well, well detailed and with that expression "don't mess with me". Good shot as well for the vulture!

I drove up to it in the car and ended up too close to get it all in. I took a few shots and then reversed back far enough to get it all in shot. It was watching something on the ground, so took no notice of me. I would estimate the head shot to be around 10m and the full bird shots 20m

Very nice! I don't think I've ever managed to get that close to one. You really have managed to grab a fantastic amount of detail there - colour me impressed!
