Sigma 50~500mm (original version). For some reason the lens under performed badly on this one day, both focus and color were "off" in virtually every image. Perhaps the camera had something set the wrong way. A lot of PP to rescue a barely acceptable image.

One crow has a bun or something.... and proceeded to tease the other one with it. They chased each other for a half hour.
Cross posted in these threads, 300mm plus and DA 55-300 PLM.

Taken y my wife Tess, and her K-5 and DA 55-300 PLM @170mm.
Posted because it defies common knowledge. Refuted points are as follows
-You need the latest greatest with the best AF to shoot birds in flight.
-You can't use a DA 55-300 PLM with a K-5
-You need long lenses to shoot BiF.

Sometimes if you don't believe people who tell you what you can't do, it works out to your advantage.

These are nice; it's almost as if they're playing and thanks for refuting these points.

Tess looked at my posts and said " you didn't post the best one", so here goes, the best one, full reach and uncropped.

K-5 and DA 55-300 PLM.
