I love my K1, but I really really really really wish the front aperture dial was stiffer. I might just start using the aperture ring on my lens instead of the dial

Thank you! I was actually about 10 feet away... but to be honest, It was shot through a piece of old
plexiglass at a zoo. I had to digitally remove some scratches and glare in Darktable. I was planning a trip to the everglades of Fl then covid happened...so zoo was best I could do... this winter I will hopefully get that trip in.

The zoo has several American Alligators but the only way to view them is through Plexiglass.

Well here is what I managed from my stills from last night of the moon. I had enough where I could push the saturation some and get a fairly nice mineral moon:

The best 79 of 157 shots of lastnight's moon
SMC A* 400mm F/2.8 ED [IF] + SMC A 2X-L converter
F/11 (effective), ISO 100, 1/100s
Developed in RawTherapee
Sorted and initial crop in PIPP
Alighned and stacked using Hugin
Further processed in GIMP
