First real time out with the DFA150-450 + 1.4x converter on the K3-3

Not the brightest of days, but as a test of what it can do, ideal conditions

I'm guessing the lack of light affected your focus. But I'm also guessing Topaz would clean it up real nice.

I think the softness is due to resizing by the forum, on my iPad the fine wisps of white feathers are very sharp but keep in mind, the latter shot was iso 5000. But I also have made no adjustments to the AF I am using the lens at +/-0 on focus adjust

Cedar Waxwing in the Bradford Pear tree. The berries have frozen and look like they might be fermenting. The birds are getting drunk! Happy New Year.

Flickers probably searching for ants. The lens isn't listed in the EXIF data, but the aperture is given as f1.0 so it was probably the 600mm f5.6 Nikon via adapter on an Olympus EM10 mII

Our well has sand piled up in front and is full of ants, we see them there 5 or 6 times year.
