Definitely getting the hang of it. Look forward to more.

So are Q adapted lens shots OK in this thread? I was hopin' my last post was not outta line. Maybe as long as we start with a 300 plus?

I would have thought if the lens mounted on the Q is 300+ it should be allowable....

I would be upset if it w not allowed. How long lenses perform on different cameras or formats is part of a long lens discussion as far as I'm concerned.

I like the quality of some of the super tele shots taken with the Q. It has me thinking......... What about my C90 (1000mm F11)?

Due to the extremely high pixel density of the Q, anything beyond about f5.6 starts to lose resolution due to diffraction. I suspect an f11 lens would be pretty dire.

Relatively small and extremely sharp Tamron Adaptall-2 180/2.5 (in reality it is f/2.4) may make a great 990mm telephoto lens when paired with Q.
Also, according to brandrx (DPR Pentax Forum), with some minor tweaks the CarrySpeed VF-3 LCD viewfinder can be adapted to Q. I have this viewfinder on K-01 and it is great. The 5.5x crop of Q sound very very tempting for birding.

The Adaptall-2 SP 80-200/2.8 (30A), which rivals the 63B for practical IQ and sharpness, should also be an interesting ~ 700-1100mm possibility. Occasionally seen used at half the cost of the 63B.
