Went to the GrandAm Rolex series races at the new Circuit of the Americas (COTA) outside Austin, TX - great track with a lot of good viewing areas - here's some taken with the DA 55-300mm at 300mm.

The car with no front bodywork was leading the race (by a significant margin) when another car cut him off and the front clip went sailing - after the pit crew replaced the clip he worked it back to 2nd place - that's racing!
