I´m in da club!

Hi guys, I just received my SMC M*300 f4 today.
I must say that you all take some incredible pictures and I am honored to be here!
I haven't gotten to use it much yet of course, and I dont know if I will ever capture such fine images as most of you.
Since i am new to tele i am still quite facinated with a simple shot of the Moon.

ISO800. 1/250. F5,6. Fence-support. Cropped and enhanced w brightness/contrast. Made smaller to fit PF.

Hope to provide som birdies later on.
Cheers/ Johan

Photos from a Sunday afternoon on the porch, cross posted from "Post your photos"

Pentax F 1.7 TC and Pentax A-400 5.6.

Sitting around on the porch waiting for birds is not a bad activity for a Sunday afternoon. Using the combo that gives me 680mm (over 1000 equivalent, lets me move a way from the feeder and look for them in nearby trees.

Great series of shots.

Went a the local "Ecomuseum" (small zoo in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Qc Welcome to the Ecomuseum Zoo ), and had fun on this overcast day (best IMHO)... here's a couple of close shots of a Bald Eagle (almost no PP, just a bit cropped for position, and a bit sharpened)

Noble birds they are...

Both shots are great! I have been to the ecomuseum a few years back. It is pretty small but have some interesting animals.

Interrupted this guy's lunch, sorry. Sigma 150-500 f/5-6.3 non-OS, 500mm and as open as it gets f/6.3, 1/1000 sec, ISO 4000, K-5, "some" post processing meaning quite a bit of sharpening, noise reduction, things to colors and more.

I may have gone a bit over with the green, but then again it's spring.

Wonderful set Gary. Hard to pick one but I really like the group of kids looking out from the nest.
