Nothing as colorful as Frogfish's great shots.

Some lovely shots over the page page or so :

Swips' Owls, iitoo's OB Sunbird, Ken's OB Sunbirds too (I really love OBS - tiny, thumb sized, birds !), Travis' Grosbeak and enjoyed Ponsonby's ISO 25,600 Chinese girl, love it.

That is a really lovely "bird" - well shot, too. At that ISO the detail is astonishing.

Observed yesterday: a blue tit feeding its young in a tree hole, Lower Austria, DA* 300 and K-5 II, cropped.

Images 2, 3 and 4 are less than 0,2 seconds apart:

A closer look at the third image above:

BTW, this tiny bird must be travelling at an incredible speed. This next shot was taken at 1/2000 no more than 0,1 second before landing and there is still some morion blur left:

The grizzly bears showed up. A bit of movement blur with the slow shutter speed.

Hey they're excellent.
If I was there, I dare say that there'd be some significant movment blur because I'd be pooping my pants.
