Sample Photos

My GBH friend was on its resting spot the other noon, but he was a bit shy....
I took some shots of him with the Sigma 150-500mm lens...

They are not cropped, little PP in LR4. Using a tripod, but I was not using a Gimbal head, just a Manfrotto 222 Joystick. SR disabled in the K-5, OS enabled in the lens (it is pretty spectacular at 500-600mm how the image gets stabilized !)

LOL - 50mm. That's incredible.
Thanks Mike, in fact I shot with the 50mm almost at min focussing distance of 30cm.

Outstanding, Travis! Interesting WB in otter shots.

These are my cheating shots from Montreal Bio Dome this summer

While the Tiger Shrike is a bonus to me, the star bird this week in Singapore is actually Chestnut Winged Cuckoo.
Doesn't have clean background but this migratory bird is a lifer to me, hope to reshoot again for better background.
