Great aircraft stuff! There has always been so many nice shots in this thread.
This is my first posting here as I just acquired a lens that will get out to 300mm, a Tokina ATX f4 100-300 zoom.
This one from yesterday has a good amount of PP, very slight crop.
I think this lens is a keeper........

I somehow ended up shooting at 3200 ISO, I didn't change back after trying to get flying squirrel images last night...

They still came out not too bad, at least there's no motion blur...
K-3 DA*60-250 plus 1.4 TC @ 350mm
ISO 3200, ƒ 5.6 , 1/4000s

Great first picture! This lens is definitely a keeper as I have the same exact one. It is so much fun to use and quite sharp. I find myself looking for photo opportunities anywhere just to find an excuse to use it. I never thought I would have use for such a long telephoto lens but somehow it ends up in my camera bag daily.

Thanks for the links pacerr. When I go to the album page I get the thumbnail views but can't the photos to show up when I click on them individually, any ideas?

Haiz today went again, the bird no show since early morning till sunset, guess have fly back to his own country.
