Ruby crowned kinglet. Flash with beamer. This will take some work. It was early morning so the flash made it possible, but the exposure using pttl was not adequate. This was manual flash settings.

Spring time in Canada!

The new growth of antlers on male deer is a sure sign of the end of winter!

Hello,
I just joined this thread, I have to say there are alot of beautiful images here, I'm working on getting some better lenses, they sure aren't cheap & it's not easy knowing which ones are the good ones. I recently purchased a Pentax-A* 300 f4 I'm not overly impressed with it at long distance but it seems pretty good at closer range, I do have a bit of CA trouble (more at long distance & high contrast) but am getting the hang of it. I also bought a Pentax-A 1.4 TC. here's a couple of photos I took today of a little sparrow with both the A*300 & TC so 420mm? they are both mildly cropped just to centre the subjects & i bit of adjustment in Lightroom4. cheers!
