Nice vultures. I see them often but never have been able to get close.

I continue to be in awe of the skills displayed in this thread. Today was my last day of a month using the HD DA 1.4x Rear Converter with all sorts of lenses. I went out with the DA*300 and found a very accommodating rainbow lorikeet. The sky is toally whited out due to the grey wintery weather, but the results impressed me. All hand held and moderately cropped. There are several others in my flickr collection.

That is a male Yellow Warbler. It's the most numerous warbler in North America.

I agree with you Sandy, the standard of photography in this thread continues to amaze me. Your Rainbow Lorikeets ain't half-bad either!
