Shot of a friend in a bar last night (F* 300 4.5) ….using the 300 lens for the monthly challenge….not the lens I'd normally choose!

1/90s, f4.5, Iso 1600, a bit of bounced flash

With that framing of his face you must have been unnaturally far away (maybe 5 m). I find it interesting to sometimes do a portrait with an unorthodox focal length.

Unnaturally? I wouldn't want to get any closer than 5m to that guy. ;~)

SMC Takumar 300/4 on the Q (like 1100 mm!)

This lens on the Pentax Q is an equivalent of 1100 mm lens on APS-C. Shot wide open, 6 images stacked in Registax (crossposted). The photo was made in the middle of the city, so better results are possible.

2 shots yesterday morning.

Ferruginous Flycatcher - finally got it after going after for 3 yrs.

Drongo Cuckoo - initially not so keen to shoot this fellow due to its non appealing full black colors, but glad the cam rendered it nicely.
