Hi guys,
Looking at the recent posts here I see tons of great shots. It is also a definite step up in IQ in the tread. Good job, really!
I had some family business to deal with in early 2015 (nothing bad though). I totally missed this spring migration season. My last birding session before disengagement from my hobby is dated by mid-February.
I hope I'm back. There are a few shots from two recent birding sessions. Nothing special, though. However, I accidently got American bittern in flight (thought it was a green heron at the moment). The shot is not perfect, but it is my very first shot ever of this profoundly sounded but very shy bird.

Proud to be vegetarian!
Common Tern: very rare guest at our local lake
Poor Woody: not pretty but still colorful. I guess that is how males molt into breeding (or alternate) plumage in the fall
