Thanks again for the testing and back and forth. There are a bunch of really nice folks in this thread. You all have at least given me a place to start.
I have encountered nothing but nice folks on this forum. I've disagreed with some, but I'd be glad to shake the hand of everyone with whom I've exchanged comments. Sadly, I'll probably never have a face-to-face with any of them.

Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, looks like it might have the red throat of a male.

#4 in @lukulele post is also a male Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.

Having done this kind of thing for years, someone you talk to many days a week, just disappears, and you never find out what happened to them. One of my first inspirations on the forum, a gruff old guy named Ira, disappeared, he came back six months later to say he'd been really sick, had to buy a 4/3 because he couldn't manage the weight of APS-c anymore, then gone seemingly forever. You quickly meet and get to know people, but you never get so close you could drop in and help out if you knew they were having a hard time. Kind of like friends but not really.

Yes ...those were nice! I enjoy all the shots here, they are all great viewing...such a wide assortment, always interesting!

Kind of the same old doves...but the Bigma bokeh is always a little different!

Anyone need an Otis Squirrel fix? He has a dirty nose from burying peanuts all morning.....most of them stolen from other squirrels.

Regards!

I'm honored to be boriscletoed™ and learn the sapsucker id. Thanks for the assistance.

That isn't what being "boriscletoed" means.

It has much more sinister implications, that reflect poorly on your worth as a human being.

Yes. Otis has the life most of us will never know. That's a great little squirrel shot! Feeding them is so appreciated by Otis......I like it too!

Otis is mostly all smiles....with his easy life, smiling is just natural. He has the best of everything...no kidding!

Otis knows he can count on you to come through when the shots are there!

On the more serious side of life......That brings sort of sad feelings....I too have missed many that are no longer here and suspect they are no longer with us in this world. Lots of really great people over the years have meant a lot to me and been a friend and inspiration. I have been most fortunate to be able to meet several Forum Members in person and can tell you that every one of them were a delight to meet. Very good people, the kind you are fortunate to know. This may be an electronic vapor we reside in, but we are real people with real lives and when the opportunity arises to meet up, don't ever miss it!

BTW- I've only met one "weird dude" from online over the years and he was from DPR.....go figure! In all fairness, I did meet a couple of others from there that were great guys.
Someday I may meet you Norm, if I live long enough and my Jeep will travel that far. Otis wants fresh shots of your butt crack.....you know how he is!

Regards!

IF any interest my examples of converters and various lenses my research work is on my website at
Pentax FA*600, Pentax A*400 and Pentax FA*300 f/2.8

I didn't user your lens but serveral pentax converters and several pentax extreme lenses.
