I found a Picture of me using the 300mm F* f/4.5 that was stolen in SA (sob, sob) from my mobile hide - about 20 years ago. I didn't appreciate how nice the lens was back then,I just wanted more reach ;(

luftfluss, nice images.
I like the leaf on the bear's nose - was it much trouble to get it to stick there?
He was smitten by the beautiful Tak 300/4...

Did you use a flash or what is natural light?

Yes, good lighting and orientation then. I though for a moment that you used a flash , that's why I asked the question.

And now for something different

You know how you're out looking for birds and there aren't any and you see something interesting and you just shoot it.

DA*300/4 & HD 1.4x

And now back to more sensible stuff.

A few from yesterday and today. The eagle was that close, 300mm. The beach is 300mm, the hawk and otter 500mm.

I like this photo, composition. Not easy to shoot from a canoe. When looking close, AF is slightly front focused, little micro adjust needed?
