Thanks, Norm, but y'know I don't currently have any AF tele lenses, so I practice and practice with the A400, and about 10% of the time I get it right! Crown me!

Damn, Rupert, that is massively impressive performance!

Due to the exceptionally mild winter we experienced here in northern NJ, some of the younger squirrels developed a fungal skin condition which results in itchy bald patches. It usually does not pose a serious health concern and clears up after a month or so.
Thanks! I am loving this camera! I am also loving the great shots posted here....including those wonderful squirrel shots of yours! My squirrels send your squirrels a "Get Well Soon" !

Best Regards!

It's looking like this might be my permanent residents this year. I lost all my sparrows when we didn't feed them for 6 days while on a canoe trip. Birds are flighty friends. You just can't count on what you don't feed.

DA*200 with HD DA 1.4 TC, possibly stacked with the F 1.7x.

This morning, out with the birds.

Pine Siskin 6-8 present.

Blue Jay 7 present.

Goldfinch 2 present.

Hairy Woodpecker 1 observed.

Red Breasted Nuthatch 2 observed.

Chickadee 7 observed.

Also observed 4 Evening Grosbeaks.

Envious of that Goldfinch. I hardly ever see them, despite being the state bird of NJ.

We don't get them every year, this year so far so good.
