The results is actually not bad shooting at cropped mode for higher fps but only 15MP, similar to K5-IIS, at least I'm able to capture this shot
As usualy kengoh, truly remarkable pictures

Excellent Norm...no need for you to get a K1. Unless, of course, your K3 falls off a shelf like my K5IIs did.......

I could easily get 100 of these dove shots a day...they love the Cheater Branch!

Squirrels love the Cheater Branches too...but say they have a fowl smell?

Regards!

I wish we coulkd get birds like this in our garden. We get very few varieties these days. Too many cats around I think. These shots are fabulous.

Thanks! I keep out a lot of feed for the birds and squirrels so anytime I look out my office windows there are birds...and plenty of squirrels too!

These Jays are difficult..they move fast and are very jittery.

He stayed out there maybe 30 seconds or so.....longer than usual for a Jay.

Regards!

My Mama told me to never post after the Dawg......whatever you post will look bad. Mama is right.

The male Cardinals always get the glory...but I like the little females too!

Now just a couple of fun shots!

Feed me Mama!

I tried the K-1 with my FA250-600mm and Pixel Shift (not sure if motion correction was enabled, I wasn't aware of the differences of MC or no MC when I did it, so I realized after ward that MC stand for Motion Correction...)
The sky wasn't really the best, not the clearest I've seen as I was in the city, and the moon was getting down fast at 3-4 AM.
this was severely cropped to 1:2 to fill the frame, but result is acceptable nonetheless.

And the next one taken with the K-3II, no PS, @ 600mm 1/5s, f5.6 ISO100...
Strange enough, the low shutter speed did not affected it too much
I tried to fill the frame the same way

This is another one with the K-1 with Pixel shift enabled, but with the HDTC1.4x (840mm)
1/8s, f9.0, iso100

I did not had consistent results ... on 32 images taken with PS, only 4-5 went out acceptable...
