Thanks all for the great comments. Actually I missed the K5-IIs more for landscape...

K3 + Sigma 500 F4.5

#1 Hill Prinia

#2 Whiskered Yuhinia

#3 Lifer - Hume tree creeper, never perched, always climbing up from tree to tree, feel that it climbed faster than woodpecker.
Awesome images ! The Hume Tree Creeper sounds very familiar to our Carolina Wren and is built similar probably from the same family of that species

Some shots from today's shooting in the morning. Juvenile Bald Eagle on the tree and later flew to nearby tree to join one of the parents.
Shot with K-50 and SMC A 400mm f/5.6 lens. I love this setup..decent focal range and no tripod needed.

Nice shooting ! Eagles are my #1 favorite !!

That is an excellent set that stirs envy. The peak-through-branches images of the adult really catch the eye (mine and the bird's)

fairly small -- around 12" long, little or no tail. Really likes to eat grass.

I really like the first two shots of the juvenile eagle. The look as it stares down is perfect.
Nice work.

Thank you all.

Went out today again this morning. Classic Pacific North West...cloudy :-)). Not an easy to shoot at low light against the sky.

Today I took my SMC 500mm f/4.5. Eagle came back to the same tree. There was a Great Blue Heron fishing, I couldn't resist and took some pictures of him. It was a strange day out there today. Normally there are birds singing everywhere all the time. . Today it was absolutely quiet. Not sure why.

Sunny now that the morning marine layer has burned off.

Tsunami, earthquake or some other natural disaster is coming.

The animals know.

Thanks. Sometimes an overcast sky isn't such a bad thing.

I agree. The OOF flowers* add a lot to the overall visual interest.

I think so- my flower guide isn't very helpful with this one. I think the authors are being a bit snobbish because most of the knapweeds here are non-native.

This profile reminds me of a rather annoying film character.

Mule deer female. The pair were browsing along the edge of a creek, walking in the shallow water. They came within 30 feet. They would stare at me, then go on.

I was able to get out to shoot again afternoon. Shorebirds were in for a short time when I got there. Tide was coming in strong.
Some shots of the Greater Yellowlegs using K-50 with SMC 500mm f/4.5.

The first image is very pleasing. I would clone out the stick that intrudes along the bottom.
