I came across some juvenile Swallows being fed by the adults.

I like this combination K 3 + HD PENTAX-D FA 150-450mm F4.5-5.6 ED DC AW hand held

1 and 3 original

2 and 4 pp and cropped

while waiting for these bees to stop flying around and enter the blossom, I had my first sighting of a hummingbird attracted to flowers as opposed to feeders

unfortunately, it was over so quickly I didn't get a chance to photograph it.

Red Tailed Hawk

That's a pretty cool cat Volley.

I find the Red Tailed Hawks are very wary around here and have about a 200yd minimum comfort zone. The first shot is about the best I ever seem to do and this guy only sat there for about 10 seconds probably over a hundred yards. The second shot is the one I seem to typically get but at least it makes ID of the bird pretty simple

Regrettably, I do not know what happened immediately after the series of three images involving the two bucks.
Once thing is for certain, it was not mating season yet! I have never seen that many bucks at one time, EVER!

Could anyone tell me what bird I have in frame 3 at the Arcadia Marsh? I've been through the Cornell site but don't seem to find anything with the crown. Boris? Thanks all.
