I realize that the big guy - the D FA 150 - 450 lens would give better results but some times you deal with what you have, not what might be in the home, car or back pack

I wish I had the DFA150-450 yesterday...
I would have had a great flexibility and reach with the K-1!

Next time, I will maybe try to bring my 250-600, with no lens support, for "semi-handheld" shots (I mean, resting the lens against something to stabilize the shots...)

An Osprey who dive bombed into Chesnut Creek beside the Galax, Virginia Old Time Fiddler's Convention and courtiously waited for a lens change to the A/400. The Swallowtails are near milepost 222 in a dry bog on the Blue Ridge Parkway. K-7 with the A/400.

LOL, well, sorry, I wouldn't exchange my copy of the 250-600 with a 150-450.

Better have both isn't ? :-)

As for the kidney, well... I already sold one, so I do not have one spare left... that's why I do not have the 150-450 yet

I am trying to use stem cells to grow another one... maybe in a couple years !

Yes it is, the engine is, as far as I know, the only original part of the DR1 - at least major part.
There might be some other minor parts as well, but the fuselage, wings etc. is made by Mikael Carlson.
