A series taken within 30 meters of each other, in the Arne Nature Reserve, Dorset. All are taken with my Tokina 400mm SD AT-X, at ranges from 2.5m to infinity:

East: Little Egret , West: Ringlet, South: Corfe Castle [I'm sure someone once asked to see more landscapes on this thread]....

Action from the Ferrari 70th anniversary event at Silverstone today. Nice spot on a slow corner, but I still need to shoot in JPEG to keep the frame rate up on the K-S2. I find the PLM has a quite different AF fine adjustment setting from my screwdrive lenses, which are mostly the same. Is that common?

My condolences. It has been many years since I lost my mother, but her memories are still here. I never knew either of my grandmothers, but as a grandfather living with a grandmother for 31 of the 52 years we have been married, I know that grandmothers are special people. You were blessed to have her with you.

Spotted Pardalote, and a Powerful Owl occasionally munching on the white parrot that it would have swooped on while it was sleeping overnight. The owls have been known to take possums, pigeons, bats and, it's said, small cats.
