Looks good to me.
Thanks, but the whites on his neck are blown, much more than I'd like.
They are a difficult subject, particularly their back view which shows much more white.
When you get the exposure right there is some very nice detail in their feathers.
Cheers,
Terry

Good action, anyway, Bob!
Action and mood. I love 'em. It's not as if eagles always live under clear sunny blue skies--that is the real deal!

Thanks Dave. They closed off the gates and posted do not enter signs for the rocky shore. I was told someone climbed down the rocks to the riverbed like I have done, fell into the Susquehanna, had to be rescued and lost his camera and 600mm. Not sure if is true but you are no longer permitted to go down the rocks to the river level. The gates are locked. Signs are posted saying if you climb the fence you will be banned. I am guessing if the get violations the power company may close the site. Nobody climbed over ..
I feel to get a shot of an eagle snatching a fish that you can print at a decent size requires more than 600 now, probably 800. I am thinking of renting an 800 for a few days later this month or perhaps next year.

Next time you're going to take an image of a Nashville Warbler, let me know.

Did he come for a Predators game?

That shot was taken on a trail along the bank of the South Saskatchewan River - the bird was on its way south so you might not have made it in time!
You really should get to Pelee and Rondeau for the migration next year - they (and all the other warblers) are more colourful on the return trip.

I had to get out of the car to take these shots. A short walk along the beach got me this female Black Redstart. K-3ii/FA*600mmF4ED[IF]/Gitzo 1348

My trips this last year were all compromised by rain and wet weather. Maybe this year.
