It was just strange luck I decided to go online and post right after you dadipentak! Only win would be a sale! Haha! Never tried both of them on my lens before, even on a sunny day.

Mallee Ringneck

I was sitting under a tree near Mannum Waterfalls, South Australia having a rest when this fella lands on a limb above me. The compositions are not the best as I had to perform contortions to get any sort of angle without scaring it off. Nevertheless I think they show off the plumage rather well. Taken with the DA* 300 plus DA 1.4X converter.

Battling Knights!

Something a little different from the usual wildlife, but all shot on the DA 150-450, albeit at 150mm. This was a really enjoyable display at Hever earlier this year.

Looking for a good spot to photograph eagles. I do spend a number of days at Conowingo Dam where there are eagles in numbers in November and December. I am seeking another location within a day's drive of the Mid-Atlantic area that may offer a location with a better photographic environment than Conowingo. Specifically I am seeking a place where you have a good chance to photograph eagles fishing with a background of trees. Conowingo has very brown polluted water from all the farm and ceptic overflow in Pennsylvania. The background is also brown, man made shoreline of brown rocks.
I have heard the Upper Delaware River has some good spots where eagles come from Canada to winter.
Any help pointing locations for eagle photography in an area where they congregate would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Here's the brown background I am trying to avoid

Picky, picky!

I know there are eagles on the Potomac but don't think there are sites where they congregate anything like they do at Conowingo.

This immature dark morph Snow Goose have drawn the attention of bird watchers because it has a pale tip of its beak. It's probably just a simple genetic aberration
K-3II + DA300 =HDTC1.4x

Could be a genetically controlled trait, but I'd I bet it's a one-of developmental anomaly.
