First sighting near last seasons nest site. Good to see them back.

Yes, probably a Rock Pipit (Anthus petrosus), although I don't have a lot of experience with European species of pipit.

I would say that's spot on, as my field guide says: "habituates beaches out of the breeding season..."

A few more K-1 images from the park. I had the parking lot where many people feed the birds to myself, meaning the birds were more comfortable getting close. That led to a camera body change from the K3 to the K-1, brought along for landscape shooting. But, if you have a choice take off the CT or use a bigger sensor, the bigger sensor is the logical choice.

Birds taking care of birds business.

Normhead which lens were you using to get the bever photo's I've never seen a bever so I assume these are bever shots.
