Great that the moon was actually there and not added in PP! I have a distant shot but still looking for a good Snowy image for this winter.

Today I took out the Tamron Adaptall 200-500/5.6 (31A) and matching 1.4x TC to play. Not too much doing around the yard, but red-bellied woodpeckers are always tough gets for me and who doesn't like to photograph squirrels?

I have to move my blind on the deck further back as the cardinals are getting too close! Minimum focusing distance on the A* 400 is 14.5 feet.... it is the molting time for the cardinals here...

Magpie

This winter has been like a rollercoaster in Finland. Rain, frost, snow, rain and always gray... Even magpies hate the weather. Originally, I was shooting something else (without any luck), and this one came to the roof of a barn about 50 meters from my position. It looked so lonely so I had to take a shot...

Very nice!
That cedar waxwing looks like it could take on Godzilla.

Waxwings are one of my favorites too.
Last November a small flock landed in a tree top about 40 yards away.
Shot with my KP and the DA 300* it took some heavy cropping to see them better.
