I went down to the park early this morning to hopefully get some under-wing shots of what I had thought to be a family of three Kites.
The following are all taken with a DA-300 on my K3 but are unfortunately back-lit so I've had to play with them to bring out the detail also they are heavily cropped as they barely filled the circle in the viewfinder.
They were all taken at the same location (Braeside Park Wetlands) within a two hour period. So many doing the same thing in the same spot!
1/ Whistling Kite. Pretty sure.
2/ Swamp Harrier. Pretty sure.
3/ Brown Goshawk. Pretty sure.
4/ Juvenile Brown Goshawk? Not sure at all.
5/ Square-tailed Kite? Not sure at all
