I think it might be an Australian Hobby.

First a huge hole was excavated, and yesterday a crane was under construction for a condo project at the end of my street. I debated whether to clone out the wire squiggle but it's part of the structure and obviously has a purpose.

wasn't high enough to try to photograph down into the nest

so only got the adult Osprey
