I think so Terry, I can't be positive but I can only see two feet but there might be others under the talon and the 'fluff' looks more like feathers. Then again I don't see any wings.

Enlargement of the feet:

I think these might be Yellow Rosellas
Terry, I'm no expert, and I may not have the best book (Michael Morcombe, Field Guide to Australian Birds).
The chest seems to have patchy crimson colour, which seems to be missing from the Yellow Rosella.
If it is the Yellow, I would be at the outer edge of its known area.
Can you have another look, please?

I would back Terry on this one.

My 'Simpson & Day' has drawing that are a clear match. You need more than one reference book, there are too many variations to rely on one (even if it's a good one)You can often get the 'Simpson & Day' from an op shop cheap, I keep hoping for a Morcombe.

Also use Google Image search to check.

This is a Juvenile Crimson, I know because I was there and so was it's mum.

Hello Rod,

You're welcome :-)

According to 'The Australian Bird Guide' CSIRO 2017, it is described as a "Crimson Rosella, Yellow type, ssp. flaveolus, and given the name 'Yellow Rosella', so I don't think you were wrong describing at as a crimson.
My original diagnosis was from Pizzey and Knight.

Cheers,
Terry

A male deer with it’s female harem hiding in the forest.
Quite an experience, I was standing behind some trees 30-50 meters from the deer.
K-70, DA*300, shutter speed should have been slower to lower the ISO.

This is well done, I like the sleeping hummingbird, most times you see them they are beating their wings.

I think this young one gets tired guarding the feeder from the other 10 that want to use it...

We've got one who's found a spot where he can guard both our feeders. We have on on the house and one on the guest cabin. He has perch on a rid pine where he can see both and I see him there all the time.

Thanks, Dave. They are actually two. I don't know if it's a couple, or siblings or just simply both found way to our garden.
Well, in fact I think they are at least two, because I'm only able to tell them apart based on the color of their fur. One (above) is ginger, the other one (below) is brown to black.
Anyway it's fun to observe them.

Strange looking paws in the last one!
I know they're supposed to look like that but... funny anyway
Great shots.
