No, sorry, it just seems like using the insert image function of the forum worked with Flickr, here's the shot since I can't find a way to edit the original post.

Thanks. This picture is of a female bush dog who's part of a breeding program. The bush dogs are an endangered species, so the breeding program is kind of a big deal. It's been a privilege to photograph the ferocious little doggie.

Another shot of same dog, again with the DA* 300 + 1.4x converter:
Nicely done.
It's got the evil eyes on you!

Thanks for the kind words above. With the goal of hitting 40K posts for the month, here's a few more of the same bird coming in.

K3ii, DA 560

I have neglected this thread for too long.

Last August I took the DA*300 to the theatre - on a cruise ship between Beijing and Japan (with permission of the Chief Officer, Safety )

K-1, all hand held.

Nice job. I take it these were all taken with available light, no flash allowed. Just out of curiosity, what was your shutter speed. How did you handle the lighting?

Is that your daughter in the second row, in the third photo. Her smile looks familiar.

Click on the images to view them in Flickr. All the EXIF data can be seen there. No flash of course, and I was 100' from the stage so it would have been useless without a blinding Better Beamer.

The blonde at the back - yes. She was the only reason we were on the cruise
Coincidentally, she flew from Miami back into Tianjin today for her second ten month tour of duty.

That's a really interesting set. I especially like the third image that includes your girl.
