Cape May Warbler?
What the heck? I don't know what species of warbler that is. I don't have my warbler ID guides with me at the moment, but, by process of elimination, it seems to be a hybrid of some combination.

Regardless, it's a nice capture.

Regarding yellowlegs, they are fun to watch because their prey items are large enough that you actually identify the family or order that the prey belongs to.

Addendum:
The warbler has the right facial pattern, flank streaking, back pattern, and wing bars for Blackburnian Warbler. However, the yellow (seen in first-winter females) extends much farther onto the belly and is exceptionally brighter than most Blackburnians.

Nice shots, and a real treat to see. Me and some buddies saw a Hoopoe on Tennyson Down on the Isle of Wight when we were about 14 years old. It was flying along the sea cliff edge with its white wing patches flashing. Made it into the Hampshire Bird Report.

Kookaburras are relatively common throughout Australia but difficult to capture showing the eye due to a heavy overhanging feathered brow. I usually only get a dark black hole so I'll settle for this.

Have you tried adding a catchlight in photoshop? It really does add to the image when you have one. You did good on this shot!

Wow. So close you can see the parasitic tick (Arachnida: Ixodida) sucking blood in front of the bird's eye.

Well I got the ID of the snake wrong the other day, it's a Lowland Copperhead not an Eastern Brown.

Forgive the mistake, it didn't have a barcode. Also Copperheads colour ranges from slate grey or black to coppery red-brown through to deep brick-red on the upper surface.
Juvenile copperheads are often paler, being a reddish-brown colour, sometimes with a grey head and an indistinct dark band across the nape of the neck.

So I think it's a juvenile.

Not nearly as deadly except for the fact this one's made it's home less than a metre from a gate I sometimes use.

@str8talk83 - the lighting in number four is amazing, makes it an almost-3D image.
