After the excitement of the grey phalarope last month, another rare visitor to Conwy RSPB to excite the twitchers this month - a wood sandpiper. K3 + DFA 150-450mm. F9

I spent a long time out with migrating birds today.... the feeders are busy.

Ignore the exif for the lens and f-stop.

Ruffed Grouse - We were worried about the lady. She's been with us off an on all winter and we've found the remains of two of her sisters, either wolf or fox kill. But she turned up today for the photo session.


The Blue Jay popped in for a peanut in the shell and left. I had no chance for an image.
