Two small birds at 300mm and cropped by 50%. Open bush in North Queensland - anyone care to confirm identity?
I think the yellow one is a juvenile Mangrove Gerygone,
Gerygone levigaster . I saw mum nearby in adult beige plumage and 50% bigger in size. It could be a Weebill but it is too immature looking and possibly Yellow Thornbill but again too immature and the eye is solid black.
I have checked my copy of Simpson and Day several times but cannot identify the next one:
Both taken with K3 and DA55-300 ED
