Yes, exactly! Over here they are in plague proportions in some of the wheatbelt towns, contaminating grain stockpiles, destroying sports ovals and bowling greens, damaging electrical wiring and pooping everywhere.
As mentioned, they take over nesting hollows from other parrots and even though they can't use the smaller hollows, their aggressive nature forces smaller parrots away from using them.
Many control methods have been tried including drugging and subsequent re-location which was spectacularly unsuccessful.
