Aye there’s a spit of land which creates a strong rip current just off the shore (20 yards or so).

The Dolphins have learnt to use this as a tool for feeding, the rip brings in the Salmon which they then meet, swimming against the rip.

Clever eh.

Guilty as charged. Although at $A411 on sale it's pretty hard to resist the siren call of the PLM, with or without my influence.
Damn you Des, only 1 left now.

It's calling your name Craig. The price is amazing for what it delivers. To put it in perspective the TC on sale is $100 more. It's $80 cheaper than the DA 18-135.

I meant "There's only 1 left now that I have ordered 1"

You can stop trying to sell me on one.

Edit: Interesting, CRK/Pentax Australia have had no stock for a (short) while but DCExpert has. Funny as DCExpert delivers (drop ships?) from CRK.

Congrats. Just a word of caution - the plastic barrel can break easily. If you look at the reviews, it seems I'm not the only one to have had this.

Sharing the Oriental Magpie-Robin, super friendly while waiting for the Daurian Redstart (first winter migrants in 2019), didn't managed to get a clearer shot for it. The Malayan Night Heron also looking for food nearby. All the pictures are taken with my K70, DA300mm with 1.4 TC.

A very obliging Hare that was asleep when I arrived. Taken from my car with a K-3ii/FA*600mm F4 ED [IF]/RRS BH-55/Kirk window mount.

Bees K-1/ DA* 300

Wild Arizona bees. Probably African cross breed. They lived peacefully in this spot for several years. Gone last spring so I left the Exif.. Crop.

First time I've seen eagles sitting side-by-side.

First 2 photos taken with the Tamron Adaptall-2 400/4 65B + Pentax A 1.4x-L, last photo just the bare lens.
