Very nice. Where were the photos taken, I'm familiar with north Jersey.
Along Lake Musconetcong. I shot from my car, they were about 30 yards away. If I'm lucky I'll see them sporadically though April.

Thx, I was thinking it might be somewhere along the Gap. I know many people view Jersey as urban sprawl but it has some nice wildlife areas. I used to spend time near Newton in the 60s.

Yes, Mrs. Eagle was alone when I arrived, and while I was attempting to find a view that was not too badly obstructed Mr. Eagle showed up.

Those Watership Down rabbits are good to see. So different from our local Eastern Cottontails.

A lot of people don't know that there is more forest in New Jersey than in Colorado.

Wow. I had no idea, and I've lived in Joisey my entire life.

First 2 photos taken with the Tamron Adaptall-2 400/4 65B + Pentax A 1.4x-L, last photo just the bare lens.

Cool capture of the pair!

Great series of a hare being a hare.

[ I got very lucky when I decided to take this lens with me on our trip, my 150-450mm literally fell apart during the trip and this became my long lens ]
Good thing you had the backup, nice capture. Kind of surprised to hear of a 150-450 falling apart.
