Thanks. I like it and have it up in the critique section as I don't normally do critter photos so am looking for feedback. The dark blotches are the out of focus branches with leaves that was just coming into view as I panned while doing burst mode.

I think they were either egrets or blue herons. We had both in the area at the time and being so back lit there wasn't the detail to pull up to tell the difference.

yes! it's always a huge thrill capturing them in flight.....big bonus is catching them fishing! I have a long distance sequence but it's too far and a few with the catch being taken off to eat
