A male American Robin. Tamron 55BB 500/8 mirror lens. Pentax KP ISO 1600 1/640th. The 55BB continues to surprise me. Anybody who says mirror lenses aren’t sharp hasn’t tried the right one.

My favourite Long-tailed Duck spot where they come up close was empty on my last visit (maybe they finished up all the mussels), so I'll have to content myself with more distant shots before they head back to the Arctic.

The long tailed duck is one of the prettiest, and you caught a whole raft of them. Thanks for posting.
